Huset’s Speedway Gearing Up for $75,000-to-Win Silver Dollar Nationals Presented by MyRacePass July 16-19

Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (June 23, 2025) – One of the premier late model events of the year is approximately three weeks away.

Huset’s Speedway, which just wrapped up hosting a pair of six-figure crown jewels in the sprint car world, welcomes the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series next month for the 15th annual Silver Dollar Nationals presented by MyRacePass.

The event runs July 16-19 with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competing in $10,000-to-win shows on July 17 and July 18. That leads into a $75,000-to-win main event – tied for the second-largest winner’s share this season for any Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event – during Kwik Star Night on July 19.

With a half-dozen races in July prior to the appearance at Huset’s Speedway, Ricky Thornton Jr. currently holds a slim five-point lead over Jonathan Davenport in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series championship standings. Devin Moran ranks third with Hudson O’Neal fourth and Garrett Alberson fifth in the standings.

Moran topped last year’s event finale after Bobby Pierce swept the preliminary nights. Thornton Jr. was the preliminary night winner with Brandon Sheppard claiming the event finale in 2023 – the first year it was held at Huset’s Speedway.

The Silver Dollar Nationals presented by MyRacePass begins on July 16 with the Tri-State Late Models and IMCA Stock Cars in action.

The Malvern Bank SLMR Series joins the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on July 17-18. The support class on July 19 is the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks.
