Huset's Speedway
Championship Battle – 3 points – 1 night
The fight to be the 2014 Huset’s Outlaw Sprint Car champion will come down to the final race of the year.
Just three points separate current point leader Terry McCarl, and second place Mark Dobmeier, entering Sunday’s championship finale. Justin Henderson will be a dark horse in the fight entering the competition 27 markers out of the top spot.
McCarl has one feature win on the year, but has finished in the top ten at each event.
Dobmeier has more wins with five on the year, but has missed a top ten finish at three events.
McCarl is a seven-time champion at Huset’s taking the title in 1996, 1998 ,1999, 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2012.
Dobmeier is a five-time and defending Huset’s champion with titles in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013.
Henderson won a Huset’s Outlaw Sprint championship in 2002.
Sunday’s A-feature will pay a whopping $10,000 to the winner. Sunday’s race starts at 6.p.m.
